In the beginning of 2017 Baust commissioned a rotary punch with a vision system. The punch perforates two channels of rigid PVC with small punch tips of 4 and only 2mm diameter. Due to the high quality standards for electrical applications the customer wanted to be 100% sure to have all holes made and sitting in the right position. Baust combined a number of fast changeable tooling with its advanced FX-Drive PLC system and an industrial grade vision sensor for a perfect punch result.
